After graduating, he began working as a music instructor while performing with several local bands. His combined experience as a teacher and performing artist played a key role in shaping his skills as a songwriter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2002, Rolf and his wife, lyricist <strong>Monika Schnyder<\/strong>, decided to pursue songwriting as a full-time profession. While his primary focus is Country and Pop, Rolf is stylistically versatile, with a catalog that also includes Jazz, Rock, Pop, and Irish music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several of his songs are under contract with a Nashville-based publisher and various song pluggers.
